I went to Japan by participating IN A Youth Training Center’s International youth culture EXCHANGE program. Nearly 30 students AGES 15 to 18 students including me, went THERE with Youth Training Center’s teachers. Me and my friends are the youngest among others. ON the first day, I had to go to the airport by 7am. According to THE airplane schedule, we have to depart at 9:35, but because of the engine problem, it was delayed more than two hours. We were planing to go to International Korean School in Osaka by lunch time, but we arrived their AT  5pm. The school that we have VISITED, is for students who are Korean residents in Japan. There are  many people who go to Japan in THE colonial period, and dispute era for studying or EARNING money. They said there are 10 MILLION Korean residents in Japan. Most students there are 4, or 5 generations of the first immigrants. We were planing TO PLAY some games to be friends with them, and they are planing to introduce their school to us, but we have to cancel most of it. We have changed our sits by drawing lots, and have some conversations with them. But the friend that we met was little strange. He said he doesn’t have any friends and didn’t talk much, so to me, it was not so fun. He said he likes North Korea better than South Korea, because his great grandfather moved to Japan from North Korea. I didn’t feel bad, but I was surprised at this. Most countries also assume a hostile attitude to North Korea, and news are also reporting bad things about North Korea. They sometimes make news with little exaggeration. So I thought it will be hard to like North Korea after looking at so many news like that. It was really A SURPRISE to me.
Second day, we traveled IN Osaka. I have visited Osaka castle, Seuten kaku, and Umeda sky building. The day we have visited Osaka castle was the day that the big war in Japan was held. So they were celebrating it. We also saw THE museum near the castle, but it was hard to understand what they are explaining, because most of them are Japanese, and English with difficult historical words. Next we visited Seuten kaku. It is like a main STREET that has lots of stores. I bought some presents for mom, and dad there. The last place was Umeda sky building. It is 173m high, and we saw the night view of Osaka there.
ON THE Third day, it was my group’s turn to lead the way to Kyo-to. In Kyo-to we have visited Nijo castle, nishiki traditional market, and giyomizudera. Nijo castle was also a big castle in Japan, and nishiki traditional market is old traditional market of Japan. I ate Onigiri in the market. Giyomizudera is a temple in the mountain. The scenary up there, was wonderful.
In fourth day, we went to Kobe. Kobe is a port city. I can see the sea FROM the high tower, FROM there, and I also visited THE Earthquake memorial park. I can see the cracked rocks, and lots of records of earthquakes that happened in there. In the evening teachers gave us free time, so I played in THE department store.
On the last day, it was also free time. So I went to THE market, and Daiso to by things that I need. I bought some pens, and presents for my friends in school. AT 5pm, we went to the airport, and arrived at home AT 11 o’clock. The airplane only takes half an hour, but coming to our house from the airport also takes AN HOUR AND A HALF
I had only been to other countries in package travel, so it was my first time to go to other country after I planned our trip. It was a great experience, so I went to try to go like this with my family later.
